A BRIEF NOTE ABOUT SLS AND SLES:

This rumour is an internet hoax. The supposed 'medical study' cited by the advisory does not exist, and both the FDA and Health Canada have determined that both SLS and SLES are completely safe. For more information, just Google 'hoax, sodium lauryl sulphate'.

All our soap bases use Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES), which is milder and less drying than Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS).

White Opaque:
Sodium Laureth Sulfate (mild cleansing agent derived from Coconut Oil)
Bleached and deodorized Coconut Oil
Propylene Glycol (comes from glycerol, a natural moisturizing material)
Glycerin (humectant, naturally produced during soap making process)
Sodium Myristate (foaming agent from vegetable fatty acids, natural organic acid)
Sodium Stearate (natural fatty component to soap, vegetable base)
Triethanolamine (emulsifier, made from vegetable fat)
Water
Titanium Dioxide (whitening agent)
Preservative

Clear:
Sodium Laureth Sulfate (mild cleansing agent derived from Coconut Oil)
Bleached and Deodorized Coconut Oil
Propylene Glycol (comes from glycerol, a natural moisturizing material)
Glycerin (humectant, naturally produced during soap making process)
Sodium Myristate (foaming agent from vegetable fatty acids, natural organic acid)
Sodium Laurate (cleansing agent derived from coconut oil)
Sodium Stearate (natural fatty component to soap, vegetable base)
Sorbitol (found in ripe berries from mountain ash trees, adds creaminess)
Triethanolamine (emulsifier, made from vegetable fat)
Water
D.M.Hydantoin (anti-microbial)
Chellating Agent (binds hard-water minerals)

Sodium tallowate (cleansing agent derived from beef tallow), Sodium cocoate or sodium palm kernelate (cleansing agents derived from coconut or palm oil), Water, Sodium chloride (salt), Sodium silicate (soluble glass), Magnesium sulfate (epsom salts), Fragrance
(note: no glycerin)
